Dreamland

The world would be better if it were all just a dream.
If I could wake-up and forget. If I could stop dreaming and live a new life, if it was all just my imagination; if I could wake-up to a comforting bed.
The world would be better if this all was a hallucination and I could forget this life, by living the real one.
The world would be better if I could open my eyes to a new sun, and if this world was something I didn’t have to see anymore.
So, I didn’t have to hear the names being thrown at me, if it were all a façade; if I could go back to sleep without having to cry myself there. If I didn’t have to constantly think about my wrong doings.
Maybe I’ll wake up to a happy family that will finally accept me.  
Maybe this life will life will be brighter, the new world fresh, and finally something my sore eyes wouldn’t regret.
If the darkness wasn’t as scary, if I wasn’t afraid of the monsters in my head.
